This image is from a series of postcards intended for tourists around the 1920s. Visible are Arthur Hopwoods, the Nonpareil Cycle Company, Audie Whitworth Cycles and Giorgi Hairdressers. The domed tower is Everbody's Theatre - it became the Midland Hotel in 1928. A group of children can be seen in the middle of the photograph.
