Buildings to be demolished in Rangitikei Street

Description

The buildings to be demolished were, from left, Fowler Motor Garage, ANZ Bank and the Cooper Rapley building. Behind, as seen, Fridge Heat, formerly Barraud and Abraham’s premises on Taonui Street, was also to be demolished. The demolition was carried out to allow for the extension of Grey Street through to Taonui Street.
