Members of the Wycherley family sit of the verandah of 111 Worchester Street, Ashhurst. The family migrated from the United Kingdom to New Zealand in 1885. By 1892 the family were living in Ashhurst. They later established the business C W Wycherley and Son, Saddlers and Harness Makers, in The Square, Palmerston North (c.1899-1919).
