A group of about seventy female students from Ikatere House, Palmerston North Intermediate School. The first intermediate school in Palmerston North was opened in 1941 at 300 Ferguson Street. This negative comes from the Elmar Collection - a large series of semi-identified and unidentified images from the 1930s-1970s.
