Description

This photograph was taken looking along Broadway into The Square. Some of the businesses that line the street are, from left: Alexander Gowns; Broadway Shoes; Garners Department Store; Progress Building; The Manawatu Daily Times office; Australian Mutual Provident Society (AMP); Australian Temperance and General Mutual Life Assurance Association (T&G Building). At the end of the street can be seen the Mayfair Theatre, on George Street.
