"Parading in the Rain" A&P Show Grand Parade of Livestock

Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 10 November 1958: "The grand parade at the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association's Show was held on Saturday afternoon. The parade was at its usual high standard, but the spectacle was dampened by continual light rain. Some of the cattle are seen as they move round the outside of the ring, flanking the horses and their riders."
