Caption: "In the Showgrounds, P.N., the Manawatu Poultry and Pidgeon CLub (Inc.), held their 59th Show. Among the 1028 exhibits 174 were pidgeons, 28 ducks and the rest fowls."

"A Nun Pidgeon - a rare bird in N.Z. - an exhiibt (sic) by Mr K. G. Hughes, of Wanganui."
