Community House in Ashhurst was initiated by the Ashhurst Community Service Group. It opened in 1993 in the former Post Office building, purchased by the PNCC as the new Ashhurst Library. The house part of the building was given over as a community space for community purposes. it opened 26 March 1993.
The album contains a history of its development and opening, through photographs, newspaper clippings and notices.
