"Comments on Industries Fair" Mr. J. Newton

Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 10 May 1961 "Mr. J. Newton, the president of the Showmen's Guild, said that the fair would have had a better boost in the early stages if the weather had been better. The people were certainly enjoying the fair, but the layout could have been improved as the side-shows were too far away from the main exhibition hall."
