The photograph is taken from opposite the entrance to Bledisloe Park (left) and to the Grasslands Division of DSIR (right). The bridge across the Tiritea Stream can be seen in the foreground and in the distance is Craiglockhart. Today this road is a section of Highway 57. Craiglockhart is now Moginie Hall.
