This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 20 February 1958, page 8: "Part of a three and a half-acre section of the glebe, on the vicarage of the Rev. Keith Elliott, V.C., at Ashhurst, is this plot which is to be converted into a Rugby and cricket field. It is one activity of the Pohangina Anglican Youth Centre now nearing completion. Here the turf is being spread preparatory to the sowing of the grass."
