This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 03 July 1961 "Modelling for the Palmerston North sculptor, Mr. T.V. Johnston, the Leader of the Opposition (Mr. Nash) provided a good subject for the camera yesterday at Mr. Johnston's studio. Mr. Johnston has been commissioned by an unknown Palmerstonian to complete the work."
