Te Manawa is Palmerston North's Museum of Art, Science and History. In 1996 sculptor, Elizabeth Thomson, was commissioned by the Manawatu Art Gallery Society to create this sculpture paid for by the Gertrude Raikes Bequest. The bronze painted sculptures are a set of four insects.
