This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 23rd December 1965 "Miss Cynthia Greensill, the 19 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Greensill, of Batt Street, Palmerston North, who returned to the city after having spent 12 months as a Volunteer Service Abroad worker in the British Protectorate of Brunei (North West Borneo).
Miss Greensill, who was formerly an Upper Sixth Form pupil at Chilton St. James School (Lower Hutt) served as a junior teacher at the Anglican Mission School in Seria, the main town in the Beunei Sultanate."
