Originally from Yorkshire, then to Somerset and Dorset, cultural differences. Wartime in England. Father a vicar. Studying at Bath Academy, art school with bauhaus approach (4 year course). Teaching art in London. Advantages of being a vicar’s daughter. Moving to Tasmania.
