This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 24 December 1962, "Pictured outside the All Saints' Children's Home on Saturday are these 18 delighted children of the home, members of the staff, three representatives of the Linton Camp junior ranks' mess and two from a city store. Free gits were distributed to each child on behalf of the junior ranks. Pictured (from the left), standing on the porch are Mr H. J. Quinn (Linton Camp), Mr W. Bishop (Linton Camp), Judith Hewetson [?], Miss M. Spurdle (sub-matron), Mrs M. Lubhock [?], Miss M. Lester, Miss M. Longman, Miss Annette Shelton, Miss Shirley Reynolds and Mr B. Edgecombe (Linton Camp)." [This was not the image that ran in the newspaper, but differs slightly in positions of the people.]
