Abandoned basketball and netball courts at Massey University's old Hokowhitu teaching college

Description

This image shows the state-of-disrepair at the teaching college's sports facilities. The metal pole holding this basketball hoop had rusted through the middle, and it has snapped under it's own weight. The other ones were okay, but the hoops themselves were all bent towards the ground.

The gates to the courts were locked except for the ones in the picture behind the hoop. There were tuffs of long-grass growing out of the concrete in the courts.

These courts, along with the playing field and buildings in the background will be replaced with housing
