These five women staff members were part of the C M Ross float, which was part of the jubilee celebrations of 1927, to celebrate 50 years of Palmerston North. Described as the 'C M Ross Tableau' their float was said to include Misses Manley, Clark, Culpin, Guy, Priest, Lucas, Toy, Carruthers’ Dallas, Rosanowski, Simpson, Gabling, Parson, Whalley and Karnedy.
