John Prentice purchased a brickworks in Boundary Road (now Tremaine Avenue), Palmerston North, in 1900. The buildings on the far left are the drying sheds and mixing sheds (steam powered). Identified people: John Prentice, owner (foreground); Herbert Ernest Prentice, son of John (driving front dray); Albert Bernard Prentice, son of John (5th from right, arms crossed).
