This image ran in the Manawatu Evening Standard on 10 January 1970 with the caption, "A give way sign and this traffic light, opposite Boots the chemist in Broadway Ave, Palmerston North were damaged when they were struck by a car about 8.30 am today. The 21 year old male driver was only slightly injured."
