Geoffrey Tremaine was the Mayor of Palmerston North from 1947 - 1956. Geoffrey (1890-1964) was a Councillor from 1927 - 1947 and Deputy Mayor form 1936 - 1947. This photograph was taken on the occasion of receiving an OBE in 1952.
