This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 29 April, 1959. "After the eggs have passed through the grading machine they are packed in cardboard cartons ready for distribution. The heavy grade eggs, in front, are put into large wooden crates. In the photograph Mrs V. Lundquist, Miss I. Thompson and Mrs K. Miers are packing the eggs."
