This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 22nd December 1965 "At the Palmerston North Hospital ward 14 Staff Nurse S. Handley and others on the ward staff have dressed these lifelike figures to represent the arrival of the Three Wise Men to visit the Mother and Babe. One has yet to be finished but days off and spare moments have been utilised in creating these authentic garments."
