This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 19 July 1958, page 13: "On this man's shoulders rests the responsibility of ensuring that the mix which is in the dough-mixing machine is perfectly balanced. Mr. P. Norris has been employed by Boniface Bros. for 18 years and he is a master of his trade and is known in the bakery as the doughman."
